World of BMW

World of BMW is a program of activities founded by BMW Motorrad (UK) in 2000.  With BMW Motorrad, owning a motorcycle is just the beginning. Ably assisted by its partners, BMW offers a truly comprehensive range of activities, training, travel and adventures for owners and enthusiasts to experience. Put simply, World of BMW is your passport to adventure!

There are four key elements to the World of BMW program with Tours, On Road Training, Off Road Skills and track activities. To see the whole program you can visit Alternatively, click here to read the complete brochure on line, or click here to watch a short video.

When you book a BMW Tour, we take away all the stress, leaving you to concentrate on the fun! New for 2014 are a range of great new destinations, as well as new initiatives like hire bikes, tours starting across Europe and an expansion of our adventure tours, where you’ll be able to explore some of the most incredible parts of the world on a BMW adventure-sports motorcycle.

Dakar legend Simon Pavey’s BMW Off Road Skills is the ideal environment to discover the benefits of off-road riding. But what’s in it for a road rider? Aside from being great fun (and it is!), it helps build up machine control skills, boosts confidence and even helps keep you fit and in good shape – all of which are extremely useful for road riding, too. Simon Pavey and his team at Off Road Skills have been fine tuning the program over 15 years.  The courses are carefully structured to help build skills and confidence in a steady and progressive manner.  With courses suitable for riders from novice to expert there is a weekend for every-one!

From taking your first step and getting your CBT, to passing your test on a BMW adventure-sports bike; BMW Rider Training is here to help. And once you’ve passed your test with us, we have a range of ‘further training’ courses to help you hone your skills and techniques to the very highest level of riding possible – the RoSPA Gold certification. Ian Biederman the Chief Instructor has been training people to ride for almost three decades. Based from their dedicated premises in Royston, Hertfordshire the school is easily accessible from the the M1 and M25.

BMW Motorrad’s award-winning S 1000 RR supersport bike has been a triumph on track, taking the 2010 BSB-EVO title as well as winning the 2010 and 2011 Superstock 1000 Championships. BMW Motorrad UK has run a number of track activities for owners and fans of the S 1000 RR & HP4 including track days, circuit-based test rides and on-track training.
